Kids Clothes – Skroutz Partner Support

The products belonging to the category of children's clothing must meet specific specifications.

Name (name)

The name / title of the product.

The title must have a specific structure and include the important characteristics of the product.

The characteristics that must necessarily be included in the title of the products that fall under the category "Children's Clothing" are the following:

Manufacturer / Importer

It must be included in the title or alternatively in the manufacturer field of the XML file.

Gender

MPN

The product's part number.

The mpn refers to the integrated code that defines the brand for each product and must be included in the relevant field of the xml feed. The last digits of the code, depending on the brand, refer to the color code.

Size

The size of the product.

The available sizes of the products must be listed together in the size field of the XML file. Regular updating of the XML file is an important requirement for displaying the sizes available for purchase.

To correctly fill in the field, the following should be taken into account:

Price range

The dash "-" is used to indicate a price range.

For determining sizes based on height, the following terms are used, with or without a space, after a plain number or a range:

It is recommended to fill in the Size Variations field in parallel with the Size field. The technical specifications for adding the new field to the XML are described in detail in the Skroutz XML data feed specification.

Color

The color/design of the product.

The color/design in the XML file should be filled in the title or the corresponding field (color), according to the manufacturer's color/design name. In cases where the term given by the manufacturer for the color/design is not clear, it should be replaced by a simplified color term. In the case that the same product is available in different colors/designs, it should be sent in separate records.

Additional images

The additional images of the product.

In the category Children's Clothing, it is mandatory to send multiple additional images (at least 2 photos including the main image). The additional images should be added to a separate field in your XML or filled in the "Images" field when creating a product if an XML file is not available. In the additional images, you can include different angles or details of the product. The images should have at least one of the two dimensions larger than 1000 pixels.

The pages of the additional images must have SSL certification and encryption with the https protocol. Detailed information on adding the field to your XML can be found here.

Manufacturer

The manufacturer of the product.

For stores that have XML, the manufacturer must be indicated in the corresponding manufacturer field or in the product title. For stores without XML, the manufacturer must be indicated in the Manufacturer field.

If the products bear your store's brand on the relevant labels (tag, label, etc.), the brand/name of the brand/store can be entered in the manufacturer field. To assign another brand to the product that is not already listed as a manufacturer on our platform, it must be an official brand (with a website, labels on clothes, recognizability). Non-branded products (OEM) are not classified in the Fashion categories.
