In this section you can learn about the Skroutz Coins tool and see how you can use it and boost your sales.
What are Skroutz Coins?
Skroutz Coins is a reward program that Skoutz Plus members participate in. You have the ability to reward users with coins for purchasing specific products from your store.
The user sees the maximum coins that are awarded by purchasing the product from your store and thus you stand out among the stores that have the same product, without necessarily having the lowest price. This way you increase your sales as consumers tend to choose stores that give more coins in order to redeem the available discounts on their next purchases.
*Regardless of the Skroutz Coins offered by a store in parallel, Skroutz proceeds to place coins on products without any charge to the stores.
How do I access Skroutz Coins?
The Skroutz Coins tool is available for free to those partners who have purchased the basic annual subscription package and have an active Skroutz Marketplace.
Through Merchants panel -> Growth Tools -> Skroutz Coins
How do Skroutz Coins work?
By activating the service you can select the products you wish to add Skroutz Coins to.
There are two ways to add coins:
1. Directly with the number of coins you wish
For example, if you want to spend €1, on each product, you write it in the “Cost” field and automatically the “Coins” field is filled with 400 coins or if you want to put 800 coins, the Cost field will automatically be filled with €2
2. Through a percentage of the product price
For example if you choose a percentage of 10%, and the product to which the coins will be added costs €100, this means that the cost of the coins will be €10, which translates to 4000 coins
* If you have selected more than one product on the previous page, the rule will apply to all of them.
- The minimum number of coins that can be added per product is 30 , (ie €0.07 per product).
- The maximum number of coins that can be added per product is equal to the current price of the product at the time of registration.
