We’d like to let you know that starting <b>Monday, September 1st, 2025, the new Comission Regulation (EU) 2025/877 comes into effect. Under this regulation, the substance TPO (Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide) - used in certain cosmetic products - is now classified, among others, as a prohibited ingredient within the European Union market.
This means that cosmetics containing TPO (or other substances classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic, or toxic for reproduction – CMR) can no longer be sold on the platform.
What you need to do:
- Review your listings (False Nail Gel, Top/Base Coats, Gel Nail Polish, etc.) and remove any products containing this ingredient
- Reach out to your suppliers to make sure your future stock does not contain these substances
- Ensure that all products you upload going forward comply with current regulations
On our side, we’ve already carried out checks and we will remove products that appear to contain this substance.
