What is the service?
It is a feature that allows customers to pay for orders over 200€ via credit card in 4 to 12 installments, with an additional charge of 3.5% of the total value of the order.
Who can use the instalment facility?
All Skroutz Marketplace customers, for purchases over 200€, via credit card.
What is the additional cost for the customer?
The customer pays an additional 3.5% of the order value if he/she chooses payment in 4 to 12 installments.
What is the cost for the store?
The store invoices at the final price of the product (i.e., with the 3.5% built in) as shown in the Affiliate Area. From this:
The commission for installments is +3%
Of which 0.5% is paid back to the store (retained)
When do I receive my money?
Payment is discounted to up to 14 days after the order is delivered to the customer. The refund is made every Thursday.
What happens in the event of a return?
The total amount is refunded to the customer on the next scheduled payment.
What are the benefits for my store?
- Increase in orders for high value products
- Immediate payment within 14 days
- No additional approval or activation action
- Preferential installment charges for the consumer, which is difficult to achieve individually
Example of pricing
Suppose a purchase is made on Monday, amounting to 500€. The customer chooses to pay in installments, and is therefore charged an additional 3.5% (i.e. 17.5€), bringing the final price to 517.5€. If the Marketplace's base commission is 10%, the total commission (including the 3% installment commission) becomes 13%. Thus, the total retention is 67.27€ and the amount paid to the store is 450.23€.
Where can I see the fees for the installments?
You can see the installment commissions in detail each month, along with all other charges and payments, in the "Payments" tab in the Partner Area.
The charge is shown as "Installment Commission", as in the example below:
